# Database Backups

P4W warehouse management system provides data base backups available every 24 hours. The backups are in a Microsoft bacpac file format. Bacpac is easy to import into any Microsoft SQL version 2008 and up.

To download a backup file, navigate to Setup > System > Database backups and click 'Download' next to the chosen option.&#x20;

With this database user can connect to PowerBI, run queries, generate reports as well as various other options without affecting live system.
